Bio

His BSc in electrical engineering and his MSc in renewable energy led to his working as an engineer for over a decade. He furthered his graduate education at the University of Northern Colorado, studying abstract algebra and continuous math, which allowed him to teach at the college level. Taking a practical approach to math, he believes mathematics is significant and has value across multiple fields of science and industry. What’s more, he believes students’ understanding of modern math applications will only help further their academic and professional goals. His joy of teaching is evident in his style, and he uses engaging tools and technologies, such as Pear Deck, Maricopa Open Education Resources (MOER), and online tutorials to inspire and provide a variety of supports to accommodate students of all learning styles.
