Biography
Stuart Altman is an award-winning, bilingual writer and director. He received a Master of Fine Arts in Film Production from Loyola Marymount University and is an alumnus of the New Mexico Military Institute.
Stuart completed the ABC/NBC Latino Television Writing Program, sponsored by the National Hispanic Media Coalition. In the program, he wrote episodes for It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia and Family Guy.
Stuart's films have been showcased at many international film festivals such as the Guadalajara Film Festival, the most prestigious and competitive film festival in Latin America. His short film, The Gift, won the Yahoo-Telemundo Audience Choice Award in Miami. His feature film, The Housekeeper, starring Denise Richards, was released on Tubi and on Netflix in Europe, with VMI representing sales.
Stuart has been with SCC for two years and a professor in the Valley for six.
