
Biography
Robin is currently a Librarian Adjunct at the SCC Library. She works at the Information Desk, where she assists students, staff, and faculty with research questions and finding information in the library and online. She runs the SCC Library Book Club, and is a member of the SPAIC committee.
She was previously a teen librarian and high school librarian in Madison, Wisconsin. She received her Masters in Library and Information Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in August 2013. She co-taught the “Tribal Libraries, Archives, and Museums” graduate service-learning course at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in Spring 2014. Before attending graduate school, she taught high school English for two years on the Navajo Nation.
In addition to working at the SCC Library, Robin is the co-creator of "A Tiered Purchasing Plan for Supporting Wisconsin Act 31 in your Classroom or Library", which is used around the state of Wisconsin to support teaching about Native Nations of Wisconsin. She teaches resource evaluation and Act 31 workshops to librarians and educators.
