Biography
I have been a teacher of the arts for 18 years which includes drawing, painting, photography, video, digital publications, graphic design, and art history at the high school and college levels. I received my BFA from Arizona State University and am Career and Technical Education certified in emerging technologies. I work full time in the graphic design and print industry and although I work locally, I never know where my clients will be coming from next which is part of the fun. Art has been a major foundation of my life's passions for as long as I can remember and I am honored to help others in their artistic endeavors. When I am not teaching and working the design job, I am taking photos as a wedding, portrait, and commercial photographer for my business owned along with my wife and fellow photographer, Alison Benitez. We have have a crazy 2 1/2 year old daughter that keeps us young, laughing and on our toes and an 11 year old lab named Lydia. Never a dull moment.
