Biography
Sean Geraghty joined SCC as Resident Faculty in Fall 2024. Previously, he worked in a variety of industries, including petroleum, supercomputing, telecommunications, information technology, management consulting, and enterprise software. His specialty is in leveraging computer technology with applied mathematics, statistics, and modeling techniques to solve business problems and make better data-driven business decisions. His most recent roles involved leading international teams of data scientists at enterprise software companies, developing advanced analytics technologies.
Dr. Geraghty began his college education at a community college in Florida, and ultimately received his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Houston. Throughout his career he has held adjunct faculty roles at several colleges, including SCC in the Mathematics and Engineering departments.
