Biography

Bio

Dr. Gilbert is originally from New York and relocated to Arizona in 2008.  She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration (Marketing/Management Dual Concentration), a Master's Degree in Management (Human Resource Management Concentration), a Master's Degree in Education (Secondary Mathematics Concentration), and a Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership (emphasis in Organizational Development).  She taught teaching middle school and high school mathematics full time for 14 years, worked for two years as a middle school and high school mathematics instructional coach supporting teachers, and returned to the classroom a few years ago. She has been an adjunct instructor at Scottsdale Community College since 2018. Dr. Gilbert is passionate about helping students succeed and loves to help students develop an appreciation or even enjoyment of mathematics.
