Biography
Hi, my name is Laura Greep. I am nursing faculty at Scottsdale Community College (SCC).
A little bit about myself.....I graduated from the University of Arizona in 1999 with my BSN (Go Wildcats). After graduation I worked full time in medical/surgical nursing with a focus in cardiac. After a couple of years of work I was asked if I would like to teach. I jumped at the opportunity and became adjunct faculty for MCC. For the next 3 years I worked full time as a floor nurse and full time as adjunct faculty. In 2004 I was hired full time as faculty. While I taught full time I continued to work as a floor nurse and then started my Master's degree at Grand Canyon University. In December of 2007 I completed my Master's of Science with a focus in Nursing Education.
Currently I teach full time for SCC in their nursing program. I teach math for Block 1 and Block 2 nursing students and Block 2 medical/surgical content. I love nursing and I love teaching nursing.
