Biography
My name is Melissa VerSchage. I am full-time staff at SCC in the Center for Teaching and Learning where I work with faculty on their course development as the Instructional Designer. I have a BFA in Photography and an M.Ed. in Educational Technology with an emphasis on Instructional Design from Arizona State University.
I've been working in higher education since 2007 as a technology trainer, employee developer, and instructional designer. Prior to 2007, I worked in industry and have a background in brand management, marketing, and graphic design. I've been working with Microsoft and Adobe products for more than 20 years. I've been a technology trainer in Adobe products for more than 14 years.
Since 2014, I've taught at Arizona State University, GateWay Community College, and Scottsdale Community College. I currently teach Adobe InDesign and Adobe Illustrator for SCC's CIS department and have taught Adobe Photoshop and Survey of Computers as well. I love working with Adobe products and find teaching them especially fun.
