Biography
Hi. I'm Tawni Rachel, Director of the Career & Workforce Center at Scottsdale Community College and an instructor for First-Year Experience (FYE). I've spent more than 16 years helping students discover their strengths, build confidence, and connect their education to meaningful careers. Before working in higher education, I owned and operated a construction company for more than 26 years, so I know firsthand the value of hard work, perseverance, and lifelong learning.
I earned my bachelor's degree in Public Administration and my master's degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University. Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, trying new restaurants, and finding creative ways to make learning fun. My goal is simple: to help you feel supported, challenged, and confident as you work toward your goals. I'm excited to be part of your journey.
