Biography

Bio

Patrick Roddy received his M.F.A. in Film and Television Producing from the University of California at Los Angeles, his M.B.A. from the University of Phoenix and his B.A. in Media and Theatre Arts from Montana State University. Roddy has been a filmmaker for over twenty-five years working mostly as a producer but he is a director and writer as well. Patrick is also an educator. He counseled independent filmmakers in Los Angeles at Film Independent (formerly IFP/LA) as Resource Coordinator, and taught Video Production at McNeese State University; Producing at University of Arizona; and Digital Filmmaking at the Art Institute of Tucson. He served as the Academic Director of Media Programs at The Art Institute of Tucson and the Associate Dean of The Art Institute of Houston. He currently is the Program Manager at the School of Film+Theatre at Scottsdale Community College and is also an Adjunct Instructor. Mr. Roddy is a life long learner and is currently enrolled as a student in the Sustainable Agriculture Program at Mesa Community College.
